Clinton Social in Hoboken is on board!

Yeah, I love this place….and so should you! Lol, just kidding…you are allowed to love whatever and whomever you want…I’m sure you also enjoy how I continue to run your life, and probably my sarcasm too.

As you can tell, too much coffee has me a bit loopy today, and even though my fingers are shaking over my computer keyboard, I am still able to bring you this announcement. It’s very simple…The Clinton Social, in Hoboken, is now teaming up with GoOutGiveBack.com during their happy hour every week.

Why is this good news? First of all, the place has a super cool vibe, with super cool food, a super cool staff, a super cool general manager (he’s the tall, thin, bald guy), and asuper cool wine list, drink list, infusions, “T” list, and more. Get the picture? What a perfect segue to now demand you to take a look at the pictures we have below!

$1 off your 1st happy hour drink helps who???

Since you literally can’t open door number 1 and door number 2, move that little crazy cursor on your screen and click on each door.

What will be revealed are the 2 charities our charitable drink program is raising money for thru September 30th, 2010 (then we switch to 2 new charities). Just go to any of our participating establishments at GoOutGiveBack.com during happy hour, get a $1 off (reg price) your 1st drink and that establishment contributes $2 to GoOutGiveBack.com. As a for-profit company, we are donating 20% of daily revenue…yes “revenue”, not “net profits”, to charity! It’s your choice to have your 1st drink make a difference! Just by getting a discounted drink, you are helping make the world a better place!

So go ahead…click…click!!!

Kickoff at One 98 Lounge, Somerville, NJ

This past Friday in Somerville, NJ was the location of our latest kickoff for our GoOutGiveBack charitable happy hour.

One 98 Lounge is Somerville’s newest spot for nightlife! Along with great happy hour specials, One 98 Lounge has a DJ with nightly drink specials Thursday thru Saturday. DJ Pancholin brings you a latin night on Thursday, DJ Mystica spins pop and house on Fridays and DJs Greyo & Canosa are playing top 40, hip hop, house & mashups on Saturdays. Want more incentive? …how about ½ price drinks 10pm-11pm to get your Friday & Saturday started.

One 98 Lounge was opened as Scampi’s Seafood Restaurant in 1991 by the Petix Family. The beauty about this place is that you can go early to get a great dinner at a restaurant that for the past 3 years has been awarded the “Best of the Best” in Central Jersey by the Courier news for their outstanding seafood cuisine.

I am very happy to announce One 98 Lounge’s partnership with GoOutGiveBack.com. Our company’s commitment to donating 20% of our daily revenues to charity are only possible because of their commitment to our marketing program. Bob & his son Robert are great people who have a very loyal following of patrons. They are a very well liked part of the community and it is easy to see why.

I had a great time hanging out during Friday’s happy hour with a drink, some oysters, and chatting with some of One 98 Lounge’s patrons. Happy hour is definitely getting happier with each new establishment. We have 2 more locations launching this week, so stay tuned. I’m actually getting myself ready at the moment to head out to one this afternoon. Cheers! …and get up, down, or over to One 98 Lounge for happy hour or a night out…don’t forget to say hi to Bob and Robert!

Kickoff at Tula Lounge, New Brunswick, NJ

‘Happy Hour Got Happier’ yesterday at Tula Lounge in New Brunswick, NJ. Proprietor Gus Sleiman officially kicked off the GoOutGiveBack charitable drink program to his happy hour patrons.

Unfortunately, I’m the moron who forgot to get some pictures, so trust me that we had a great time! Lol. Getting $1 off your first drink to ‘make a difference’ was a hit.

“I think it’s such a creative idea that I’m still getting a discount on my first drink, and helping charities at the same time. All the rest of my drinks are at regular happy happy hour specials? Wow, that’s great too…cause anyone who knows me, knows I’m gonna have a few! lol”

- Kenrique Wolfe, Hair Stylist

We’ll have more of these kickoff stories (WITH PICTURES!) to come in the near future as more and more restaurants and bars kick off their partnership with GoOutGiveBack.com.

In the meantime, head on down to Tula Lounge in New Brunswick, NJ where Happy Hour Just Got Happier everyday!

Thanks to Gus and their staff for their support of our mission to raise money and awareness for charities while bringing a valuable bar and nightlife resource to all of you!

And So Our Story Begins…

Welcome to the official blog for GoOutGiveBack.com!

Ever thought how you can incorporate charitable giving or community service into your daily life…or how about your business on a daily basis? Mostly the barriers we face are time and finances.

GoOutGiveBack.com is committed to incorporating charitable giving and awareness into our day-to-day business model. The beauty of what we have developed is that it spreads our commitment to others and benefits everyone involved.

We are a marketing company dedicated to providing a sophisticated, useful, and resourceful website serving the hospitality and nightlife industry. We provide daily and detailed information on the hottest restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

In addition to the website being a resource, we partner with our establishments to build a platform for giving. Our charitable drink program is offered at our participating establishment during happy hour and other times or their choosing.  If you choose, receive $1 off (reg price) your first drink, and then enjoy any available specials after that! In return, the establishment will contribute $2 to GoOutGiveBack.com as a company. Your choice CAN make a difference! A portion of the contribution is what goes to charity, a portions supports great deals for you, and a portion allows us to bring you this program and valuable website.

The homepage of GoOutGiveBack.com will feature 2 newcharities every 3 months. During the 3 months they are featured all of the money raised will be distributed to these 2 charities! Here’s the kicker…you can get involved too. Our website allows you to vote for your favorite charity once per day. Our quarterly distributions will be made based off the percentage of votes.

Finally…we want to hear from you. Productive conversation and interaction is the key to growing, evolving, and making a difference. Make a charity suggestion on the homepage of GoOutGiveBack.com or simply drop us a note at share@gooutgiveback.com. We will have all our social media outlets shortly where you can also drop in and say hi.

Talk to you soon!
